Liz Motta, LMHC
Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. I recognize the courage it takes to find a therapist and reach out for support.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor specialized in anxiety, depression, and eating disorders, along with concerns related to body image and young adulthood.
I offer individual therapy via telehealth to individuals in Palm Beach County and throughout the state of Florida.
“You hurt where you care and you care where you hurt.”
— Steven C. Hayes
We are each doing the best we can, with the tools we have, to navigate life’s ups and downs.
At times, you may reach a point in your life where the tools you have relied on are no longer helpful and may even be holding you back. Perhaps you are trapped in cycles of self-defeating thought or patterns of destructive behavior, stressed by pressures to perform or succeed, or overwhelmed by your emotions. You may be experiencing anxiety, depression, or an eating disorder. Regardless of the hardships you’re facing, please know that you are not alone.
You deserve to live the life you want.
Guided by your personal strengths and values, we can focus on how to get you unstuck, develop more effective coping tools, and start on your own path toward healing. Rather than fighting against those painful thoughts, feelings, and emotions, you can learn how to drop the struggle and, instead, choose actions that align with a meaningful life.
My aim in our work together is to help you gain insight, explore shifts in perspective, connect with what truly matters, and develop reliable skills so you can reach your goals. I take an intentional, gentle approach to helping you get your needs met both in and out of the therapy space.
